Well.... Katherine is off to Spain for the year. She will be home for Christmas and the back again for the Spring semester. We are all very excited for her!! We can't wait for all the pictures and stories to start. Check out her blog and follow her on her journey, ¡Sevilla!

Welcome!
Hello,
Welcome to our family blog! We have a very small farm filled with lots of love and many blessings. We wanted to start a blog so that we can share some of the wonderful things that go on here.
We are a Catholic homeschooling family in the Midwest. We have 5 children, but only 3 remain at home now. Jessica, our oldest daughter, lives close by and is attending Twin Cities Beauty College in the area. Katherine, our second daughter, is attending Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame, IN. Emily, Anna May, and Samuel are all at home with us.
We have 2 horses, 22 chickens, 2 roosters, 2 bunnies (one lives in a pen, and one that we had let loose, but has become our “free range bunny”), 3 snakes, 2 dogs (one that we are dog-sitting for a couple years!), and 2 cats. Yet… we (mostly "I ") still want some goats (so, I can make cheese!), and bees (for the honey!). I know it seems so crazy, but it all seems to work out which is truly all due to the wonderful blessings from God.
We do feel as though we have been truly blessed in many ways and that is something we want to share with everyone. Even though we have struggled through many situations we know that the Lord has been there to guide us through it all, and we know that all that we have is all because of Him.
